Ana Mehnert Pascoal holds a BA in Art History (2008) and a Master’s degree in Art, Heritage and Restoration Theory (2011), both from FLUL. Her Master’s dissertation, entitled A Cidade do Saber. Estudo do Património Artístico integrado nos edifícios projectados pelo arquitecto Porfírio Pardal Monteiro para a Cidade Universitária de Lisboa (1934-1961) (The City of Knowledge: A study on the artistic heritage in Pardal Monteiro's buildings for the Lisbon University Campus), was published by the University of Lisbon in 2012. She also has experience as proofreader.

She held a scholarship linked to the Commemorations of the University of Lisbon's Centennial Jubilee and integrated the group that surveyed the University's cultural heritage (2010-2011). She also held a scholarship (BGCT/FCT) to work at the National Museum of Natural History and Science of the University of Lisbon (2011-2017). Between 2017 and 2018, she was part of the research project CuCa_Re: Cure and Care_Rehabilitate (FCT, ref. PTDC/ATP-AQI/2577/2014), at ARTIS-IHA.
