Technician at João Miguel dos Santos Simões Thematic Network for the Study of Azulejos and Ceramics (RTEACJMSS) from October 2009 to June 2013, during which she obtained a technical research scholarship (BTI) (FCT SFRH/BTI/33166/2007) with the National Azulejo Museum and ARTIS-IHA/FLUL as the host institutions.  

Joana Bragança attended the Ceramics Conservation and Restoration Course at the Arts and Crafts Institute of the Autónoma University of Lisbon between 2000 and 2002. She has been active in the same field since 2002, collaborating, since 2003, with the National Azulejo Museum.
